A weekend retreat dedicated to Goddess Radha -

The Embodiment of Love and Compassion, full of grace and mercy.

Join us to deepen the knowledge of bhakti yoga and learn more about the Queen Radha and devotion to Her in bhakti yoga community Radhadesh that is situated in a beautiful pictureresque Ardennes in Belgium.​

 

We will gather the last weekend in August to celebrate the Hindu Goddess Radha appearance in this world with diving deeper into the essence of Her being as Love through prayers and songs, through storytelling and worship. It will be very sacred and auspicious time to dedicate our time in devotion to Her as Sunday, August 31st is Her Appearance Day and there will  be a big celebration happening in Radhadesh community and you are warmly invited to spend the whole day at the festival.

Every morning we start our day with nada yoga and vocal warm up exercises to explore the power of the sound through stepping into the voice healing practices to discover our voice as a healing instrument and expression of devotion.

Each day we will gather in sacred space to learn and share bhajans and prayers that celebrate the love and presence of Radha.​

In these devotional sessions we will

- learn to sing these sacred songs in devotional mood

- explore their meanings

- practice playing them on harmonium (bring yours if you have one)

- immerse ourselves in group chanting as a way to deepen connection to the Divine

- listen to stories and teachings that reveal the mystery, beauty and divine play of Radha

These sessions are a time to soften, to remember, and to enter the space where sound becomes prayer, and prayer becomes presence.

It is a retreat for those who would like to deepen their bhakti and learn more devotional songs and chants to offer our worhsip to Queen Radha.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

 

 

Information about Radhadesh

 

​Here is some helpful information about Radhadesh.

Radhadesh is a spiritual community with 150 residents and local members. Here you can escape your busy life and enter into a relaxing environment and take a chance to explore within and without.We try to maintain this atmosphere at Radhadesh by focusing on being pure in mind and heart. Therefore we do not indulge in Alcohol or eating meat on this site.​Meals​

At Radhadesh we eat only vegeterian cuisine in a variety of delicious multicultural preparations.if you do have dietary requirements such as Vegan, lactose or gluten free, please let us know in advance so we can make the necessary adjustments. You can use the tab water for drinking as it comes from wn well in the ground. Herbal teas will be provided throughout the retreat. Decaf coffee and other drinks are provided only at breakfast. Dessert and sweets are not included in the prices of the meals. So it can be purchased additionally.​

Transport​

If you require some assistance with transport, please let us know in advance as we can help to arrange a taxi from the nearest train stations (Marloie, Barvaux). The pickup  from Marloie is 20 euros, and from Barvaux 10 euros.​For the taxi service you can also contact Rohininandana  +32 486 94 75 71

 

Check in

​Check in at the guesthouse is from 3.30 pm onwards but you are most welcome to arrive earlier and explore property.

​Price 350 Euros (shared room)

Accommodation: Radhadesh Guesthouse in double room

in case you need a single room, please let me know and price for the retreat is 390 euros.
